Battery & auto electrical works in Kaliyakkavilai

Two brothers run two workshops here — one at Kallukatti on the NH-47 (now NH-66), near the Nayara petrol pump, and one at Pudukadai on Nithiravilai Road — each its own business, sharing one trade: batteries and everything electrical in a vehicle.

The work runs the whole road: cars and SUVs including BMW, Audi and Mercedes; auto rickshaws; lorries, buses and pickups; tractors and JCBs; and back to the Ambassadors, Premiers and 6-volt vintage machines very few workshops will still touch. When the vehicle cannot come to the workshop, doorstep and roadside help goes to it.

Inside both workshops the rule is the same: test before selling, say plainly what is wrong, and say just as plainly when the fault is not electrical at all. It is why other garages in the belt send electrical work they cannot finish to these benches.
